About the role
As the Bethlehem. PA ramps up operations, the Maintenance Planner & Spare Parts Coordinator is essential to building a structured, efficient, and reliable maintenance process.
This hybrid role ensures all maintenance work is well-prepared and that spare parts are properly controlled, available, and aligned with planned activities.
The position directly supports our mission to establish a best-in-class reliability culture in a new and fast-growing environment.

Key responsibilities

Maintenance Planning
  • Plan and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
  • Develop detailed job plans including labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to plan work with minimal disruption to production.
  • Review and improve preventive maintenance strategies based on feedback and performance data.
  • Ensure all work orders are properly documented with accurate asset and cost data.
  • Support the scheduling process by ensuring job readiness and resource availability.
Spare Parts & Inventory Control
  • Manage and organize the maintenance storeroom to ensure quick access to critical spares.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and update transactions in CMMS.
  • Identify, catalog, and standardize spare parts for new equipment installations.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Buyer to ensure timely procurement and delivery of critical parts.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
  • Monitor and report on obsolete, slow-moving, or critical spare parts to optimize inventory investment.
Qualifications and skills

  • Technical diploma or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, parts coordination, or storeroom management.
  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS/ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, reliability principles, and material management.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced plant environment where structure and processes are still being developed.

The pay range for this position is $75,602 - $125,432 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
