Maintenance Property Worker

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and safety procedures. The Maintenance Worker will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across manufacturing or residential settings. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Duties

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics
• Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential hazards or areas requiring repair or improvement
• Assist with facilities upgrades, renovations, or modifications to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential environments
• Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting with schematics and use of testing tools such as ohmmeters
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, plumbing, and general repairs
• Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred to oversee maintenance teams or projects
• Customer service skills are beneficial when interacting with internal teams or external contractors
