1.1.1. NOTE: Each pay level will be evaluated by the Lead Maintenance Technician on the basis of skill level, certification, and experience at the discretion of the Lead Maintenance Technician.
2. Scope:
2.1. Mechanical / electrical maintenance and repair of various types of industrial production equipment. Work closely with production and manufacturing engineering to meet requirements for comprehensive maintenance support.
3. Summary of Position:
3.1. Analyze information from work orders, observation, verbal information from supervisors and operators, manufacturer manuals and drawings, and other sources to maintain and repair equipment malfunctions. Includes corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance.
4.1. Duties and Responsibilities:
4.1.1. Self-starter and motivated to work with minimum of supervision. Assume responsibility for attainment of all standards.
4.1.2. Uses independent judgement in diagnosing, planning, repairing and maintaining all type of equipment including the selecting and ordering of the tools and materials to complete work.
4.1.3. Competent to effect mechanical and electrical repairs.
4.1.4. Ability to Read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and specifications, and receive verbal instructions to effect repairs on production equipment.
4.1.5. Uses appropriate tools and electrical test instruments as needed.
4.1.6. Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor / Lead.
4.2. Qualifications:
4.2.1. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree / certificate in electronics / electrical maintenance preferred.
4.2.2. Strong oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
4.2.3. Ability to multitask.
4.2.4. Effective problem identification skills. Curiosity of how machines work to do what they do.
4.2.5. Prior experience in Industrial mechanical / electrical maintenance preferred.
4.2.6. HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding skills a plus
4.2.7. Valid driver’s license.

6. Work Environment:
6.1. Operates in non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
6.2. This is an onsite job and is NOT remote. Regular and predictive attendance is mandatory.
7. Physical Demands:
7.1. Must be able to stand / walk 100% of shift, must be able to work rotating shifts.
7.2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required.
7.3. Required to stand for long periods of time (12 hours shifts).
7.4. May involve repetitive motions.
7.5. May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling on parts and containers.
7.6. Due to the open environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
