Maintenance Staff

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our hotel facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing facility improvements. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building and equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
• Carry out welding tasks and mechanical repairs to maintain equipment integrity and safety standards.
• Execute hotel painting projects to enhance the appearance and upkeep of facilities as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance and streamline future work.
• Support facilities maintenance initiatives focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in mechanical systems, electrical work, welding, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with electrical tools such as ohmmeters for testing circuits and components.
• Ability to perform hotel painting with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to facility operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
