Maintenance Supervisor

A Maintenance Supervisor oversees a team of technicians, ensuring all equipment and facilities are maintained, repaired, and operating smoothly and safely. Key responsibilities include creating maintenance schedules, inspecting facilities, managing inventory and parts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations like OSHA, and communicating between technicians and upper management to meet maintenance goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Team Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and assigning tasks to maintenance staff and contractors.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Scheduling and overseeing both routine maintenance and necessary repairs for equipment, buildings, and machinery.
• Facility Inspections: Regularly inspecting facilities to identify potential issues and determine required maintenance work.
• Work Order Management: Responding to maintenance requests and managing work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring the team and worksites adhere to all relevant health, safety, and governmental regulations, such as those set by OSHA.
