Role Purpose

Lead the branches maintenance unit, executing comprehensive plans for device and equipment maintenance. Generate detailed reports, maintain records, and ensure strict adherence to safety and security standards for efficient and secure operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Maintenance Planning and Execution

• Develop and execute detailed weekly and monthly maintenance plans for all devices and equipment.
• To prepare and implement the maintenance strategies to obtain maximum performance, obtain highest availability and ensure the integrity of all plants.
• Ensure the availability and efficiency of all resources in the overall operation and maintenance of plants especially its personnel as well as all equipment and their associated accessories.
• Prepare maintenance activities and establish priorities by developing maintenance procedures and diligently follow up its implementation to ensure effective use of resources to minimized downtime.
• Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective actions.
• Oversee the maintenance documentation process in SAP or CMMS.

• Oversee the installation, calibration, and operation of silo equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance activities for devices in branches, ensuring operational continuity.
• Ensure the implementation of emergency response maintenance mechanisms, which include the availability of the right personnel and delegation to perform the required repairs.
• Keep track of maintenance-related inventory levels to ensure quick and effective response times to emergency maintenance cases.
• Support in defining maintenance budget required for spare parts and repair activities.

Reporting and Documentation

• Generate comprehensive mechanical and electrical reports, addressing technical defects and maintenance status.
• Monitor maintenance work contracts, ensuring strict compliance with safety instructions and procedures.
• Maintain electronic or manual records for each device or equipment, ensuring efficient tracking.
• Prepare and submit detailed periodic reports to the HQ maintenance unit for review.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with safety instructions and procedures related to maintenance, coordinating with safety and security.
• Oversee welding and installations to prevent leakages or related malfunctions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Regularly review and update maintenance procedures to meet evolving safety and security standards.

Efficiency and Continuous Improvement

• Optimize maintenance activities for maximum efficiency, apply international quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
• Conduct assessments to meet quality standards and to get certifications on high quality work together with continuous improvement team.
• Suggest and implement branch enhancements including but not limited to layout enhancements, maintenance procedures, etc.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to integrate technological advancements that enhance maintenance processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

Knowledge and Experience

• 5 + years in a relevant role, specializing in electrical and equipment maintenance. Proven expertise in overseeing silo equipment, emergency repairs, and ensuring strict safety compliance.
• Expert with SAP or CMMS.
• Excellent in English

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or any other related field.

Equivalent

• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, out of which 5 years in a senior role.
• Expert with SAP or CMMS.
• Excellent in English
• Diploma in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
