Maintenance Supervisor - Building

Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose

To oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities for the building, ensuring that electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule daily work of maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Inspect building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, fire safety) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage budgets, spare parts inventory, and purchase requests for maintenance supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service contracts.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or large projects.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of building/facilities maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on call and handle emergencies after hours.

Working Conditions

• Based on-site, with occasional evening or weekend work for urgent repairs.
• May require physical activity such as climbing ladders or carrying equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
