Maintenance Supervisor - Catering & Facilities

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair: Commercial kitchen equipment, such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and cooking ranges.

2. Conduct inspections: Regularly inspect kitchen equipment to ensure safety and performance.

3. Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve technical problems with kitchen equipment.

4. Perform routine maintenance: Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns.

5. Train staff: Provide training to kitchen staff on equipment usage and maintenance.

Requirements:

1. Technical expertise: Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and electrical/mechanical systems.

2. Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

3. Communication skills: Effective communication with kitchen staff and management.

4. Physical stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment.

5. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as HVAC or appliance repair, may be beneficial.

Work Environment:

1. Kitchen or food service settings: Work in commercial kitchens, Camp facilities or food service facilities.

2. Varied work schedule: May work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
