Maintenance Supervisor cum Transport Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance Supervision

• Oversee maintenance of food processing equipment, refrigeration units, HVAC, and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) during maintenance activities.
• Schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain logs of equipment servicing, breakdowns, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with external contracts for specialized repairs and equipment calibration.

Transport Coordination

• Plan and dispatch vehicles for inter-branch deliveries of raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and cold chain integrity during transit.
• Communicate with branch managers to align delivery timing with operational needs.
• Monitor vehicle sanitation, temperature control, and compliance with food transport regulations.
• Maintain transport documentation (e.g., delivery logs, permits, vehicle maintenance records)
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align transport schedules.
• Handle transport-related emergencies, including vehicle breakdowns and route disruptions.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance supervision and transport coordination.
• Prior experience in the food and beverage industry is highly desirable.
