Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician ensures safe, efficient operation of senior housing facilities, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, while supervising staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

• Supervise and train junior maintenance staff.

• Manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.

• Maintain records and report maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED; vocational training preferred.

• 3+ years of maintenance experience (residential/senior housing preferred).

• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.

• Valid driver’s license required.
