Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hard working Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in painting, plumbing, carpentry, electric and/ or experience with appliance repair. Looking for detail-oriented workers who are able to work effectively on teams of 2-4 with limited supervision and will eventually be able to lead their own team.

Experience

• Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Complete unit turns including carpet, tile, painting, fixing cabinets, and light plumbing
• Ability to work with a variety of flooring; such as, carpet, tile, laminate to repair, replace and maintain
• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and lighting systems
• Knowledge of basic plumbing including water heaters

Skills

• Previous maintenance experience is highly encouraged
• Strong mechanical knowledge to handle various equipment repairs and maintenance
• Attention to detail, positive attitude, self-motivated
• Customer service oriented with the ability to explain maintenance work to tenants and answer their questions
• Bilingual - English /Spanish recommended

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
