Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, electrical panels, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct service technician tasks such as replacing parts, calibrating systems, and restoring equipment to full functionality efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and safety documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs or system failures to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for complex equipment.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration units is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of construction practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to repair diverse equipment efficiently.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
