Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment components to restore optimal operation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct troubleshooting for HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related controls.
• Assist with construction or installation projects as needed, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
• Lead or support team efforts in emergency repairs or urgent maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Solid mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Familiarity with construction practices related to facility upkeep or upgrades is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
