Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and other mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform appliance repairs, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults in kitchen or facility appliances.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing skilled mechanical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system inspections for accountability and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Lead or assist with equipment upgrades or installations, demonstrating leadership in team settings when necessary.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and general equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC or refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and supervision during maintenance projects.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance procedures. - Must know how to caulk and work independently (repair broken items).
- A team player is a must and weekends are required, hours are 8 am - 4 pm.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
