Maintenance Technician
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: St Charles MO
Job Description: Summary of Position
Perform maintenance functions as directed by the maintenance manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair various CNC equipment
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair industrial electronic and controls systems & equipment
- Maintain, install, set-up and troubleshoot DC and AC variable frequency drives.
- Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers such as Allen-Bradley SLC-500 & CompactLogix controllers.
- Utilize test equipment.
- Have basic knowledge of air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, chilled water, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Ability with reading and understanding mechanical prints / drawings and electrical line diagrams / relay logic.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in industrial maintenance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Working Conditions: Air conditioned, machinery noises. May be exposed to coolants, lubricants, abrasive compounds, electricity, wiring
- Physical Effort: Standing, walking, climbing, pushing/pulling, grasping, kneeling, squatting, bending, twist/turn, reach above shoulder, lifting 0-50 lbs.
