Maintenance Technician – Princeton Air

The Role (Your Day-to-Day)

You’re in the field diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for homeowners who need it done right.

You’ll:

• Assess issues, identify root causes, and make lasting repair
• Use proper tools and testing equipment—no guesswork
• Clearly explain problems and solutions to customers
• Price jobs using flat-rate systems and complete work professionally

You’ll run a mix of maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs—documenting everything and staying aligned with dispatch and your team.

This is real field work: indoors/outdoors, all seasons, physical and hands-on.

Bottom line: Fix the problem, earn trust, and leave it better than you found it.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to code
• Diagnose issues using tools and testing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and system checks
• Read blueprints and system specs
• Document work, materials, and time accurately
• Communicate with dispatch, team, and customers
• Manage service calls and workflow efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols

What Makes You a Fit

• EPA Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma (trade school preferred/required per state)
• 2–3+ years field experience (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Familiar with HVAC codes and technical diagrams
• Physically able to lift 75 lbs and work in all conditions
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
