Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and perform essential repairs that keep our operations running efficiently. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment by performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Your technical skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the safety, reliability, and productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and building infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and pneumatic issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Assist with installation projects involving construction or equipment upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from team members or management to resolve urgent issues swiftly.
• Lead small maintenance projects or teams when necessary, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving and task execution.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Proven service technician experience with a focus on preventative maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
• Construction background or experience in building maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Leadership qualities with the capability to guide others during maintenance tasks or projects. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
