Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Farmington Hills, MI

We're a growing property management company with 21 apartment communities, 80+ employees, and six years of building something we're proud of — and we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Farmington Hills team.

You'll be the person residents count on: completing work orders, turning units, and keeping every corner of the property safe and functional. If you take pride in your craft and enjoy solving problems, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs

• Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally — your attitude matters as much as your wrench

• Prepare apartments for move-in: complete turnovers, repairs, and unit inspections

• Walk the property regularly to catch issues before residents do

• Keep the shop, tools, and parts inventory organized and ready

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade (preferred, not required)

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building systems

• HVAC experience or certification is a bonus — we're willing to invest in the right person

• Strong communication skills and a resident-first mindset

• Ability to work independently, manage time well, and stay calm under pressure

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
