Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Lead or assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility maintenance when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to restore operations swiftly while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical equipment.
• Hands-on experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration technology.
• Ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance or construction projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety compliance.
