Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and repair equipment across various systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and appliances. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical components to identify potential issues early.
• Perform repairs on appliances, mechanical equipment, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance or repair projects to ensure timely completion.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and inconvenience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and general building maintenance.
• Experience in construction or facility upgrades is a plus.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Valid certifications in HVAC/R or refrigeration are highly desirable; relevant experience in appliance repair or service technician roles is essential. Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
