Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be experienced in apartment maintenance. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently, performing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be professional and demonstrate good customer service to our residents at all times.

Duties

• Perform daily inspections and maintain the grounds with impeccable curb appeal.
• Utilize Appfolio for work orders and resident communication.
• Respond to all service requests within 1 business day.
• Be available for "On- Call" rotation for emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
• Execute residential painting tasks as required to maintain the aesthetics of the facility.
• Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during specific projects or repairs.
• Be knowledgeable in minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, pressure washing,etc.

Requirements

• Proven experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
• HVAC and CPO licensing is preferred.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
