Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, electrical panels, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently by analyzing system diagrams and schematics to determine root causes.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during construction or renovation projects to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in training junior team members or new hires on equipment repair procedures and safety practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heating systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles and equipment repair techniques.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to facility maintenance or upgrades is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate projects effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Relevant certifications in HVAC/R or appliance repair are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry standards. Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
