Maintenance Technician - Electrical

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician - Electrical, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our community. This role focuses heavily on electrical troubleshooting and repair while also supporting general maintenance operations throughout the property.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, panels, breakers, outlets, lighting, and wiring
  • Diagnosing power outages, electrical malfunctions, and resident service concerns
  • Completing preventative maintenance to ensure safety and system reliability
  • Performing general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and painting
  • Responding to service requests and emergency maintenance calls in a timely manner
  • Preparing apartment homes for new residents with attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Maintaining grounds, common areas, and GOZones to company standards
  • Documenting work orders accurately within company systems
  • Supporting a positive resident experience through professional and courteous communication
  • Following all OSHA, safety, and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices
  • Experience with general apartment maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • EPA, CAMT, or CPO certifications are a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks daily
