Maintenance Technician for Mobile Home Community

Cairn Communities is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-established mobile home community. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the community while providing excellent service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on homes and community facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Water/Sewer repairs such as changing water meters, water leaks, etc..
• Inspect, lubricate, and repair pumps, motors valves and gearboxes
• Clean wet wells and remove debris
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs
• Maintain pool, common areas, and amenities
• Prepare homes for move-in/move-out, including minor renovations
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience (mobile home or residential preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades (water/wastewater preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift (50 - 100 pounds), bend, and perform physical labor as needed
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
