Maintenance Worker

Job Overview

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting and HVAC components
• Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently for construction or landscaping projects
• Maintain exterior area such as garbage bins, pavillion and out door patio areas
• Assist with cleaning like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscaping features
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, electrical work or general repairs
• Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators or similar equipment required for construction or landscaping tasks
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing techniques is highly desirable
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively with team members
