Maintenance Worker

Job Overview- Must pass a level 2 background check.

Primary task: assisted living include:

-assisting with move in and move outs of residents

- repairing lights, toliets, vanites, lvt

-painting and repairing holes if needed

- keeping the grounds and building safe

- We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach will help maintain a welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance, landscaping, and repair tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your hands-on skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the upkeep and improvement of our properties.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and general building upkeep to ensure all facilities operate smoothly.
• Conduct landscaping and lawn care activities such as mowing, tree trimming, planting, irrigation system maintenance, and landscape enhancement projects.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently for construction or repair projects.
• Maintain outdoor areas by snow plowing during winter months and performing seasonal gardening duties to keep grounds attractive year-round.
• Assist with hardscape installation and repair, including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Support tree care activities like pruning and trimming to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects involving landscaping design or property improvements to enhance overall site appearance.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and tree care practices.
• Experience in construction work including hardscape installation or repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance issues.
