MALE Cashier cum Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant cum Cashier to handle both accounting and cashiering responsibilities for our automotive accessories business in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, handling cash and POS collections, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses)
• Prepare and maintain accurate ledgers and financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE FTA laws
• Manage petty cash and prepare daily/weekly cash flow reports
• Assist in monthly closing and financial statement preparation
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records

Cashier Duties:

• Handle daily cash and credit card collections from customers
• Issue invoices and receipts accurately
• Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system and reconcile cash register
• Deposit cash/cheques to the bank as required
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and report discrepancies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting/cashiering (UAE experience preferred)
• Familiarity with automotive accessories or retail/trading environment is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
• Excellent MS Excel and data entry skills
• High level of integrity and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure
