Job OverviewThe role of an Import Export Manager involves overseeing and managing the importation and exportation of goods for an organization. This position is critical to ensuring that goods are moved efficiently and in compliance with all applicable regulations. The Import Export Manager must coordinate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, shipping companies, and customs officials, to facilitate smooth and timely transactions. They are also responsible for managing documentation, negotiating shipping rates, and ensuring the organization adheres to all international trade laws and regulations. A keen understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and trade compliance is essential for success in this role.Import Export Manager Responsibilities & Duties

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize import and export operations.
  • Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Managing customs clearance processes to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Negotiating shipping rates and contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation for shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
  • Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborating with sales and purchasing departments to align import-export activities with business objectives.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
  • Managing and mitigating risks associated with international logistics.
  • Handling claims and disputes related to shipping and customs processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
