Assistant Manager Procurement

Mustafa Developers is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager Procurement with strong expertise in construction industry procurement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations, vendor coordination, cost control, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials and services for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Industry: Construction / Real Estate Development
Experience Required: 5–6 years (procurement & sourcing in construction projects)
Location: DHA-2, Islamabad

Qualification

• BBA (Supply Chain Management) / MBA (Supply Chain Management)
• Certifications in procurement / supply chain will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services in line with project needs.
• Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, vendors, and contractors to maintain a strong sourcing network.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate rates, terms & conditions, and finalize purchase orders/contracts.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials at site and coordinate closely with project/site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality compliance, and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
• Maintain procurement records, comparative statements, BOQs, and purchase documentation for audits and reporting.
• Work on cost optimization through strategic sourcing, alternative materials evaluation, and market benchmarking.
• Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for invoice verification, payment approvals, and reconciliation.

Special Requirement (Credit Management – Supplier Engagement)

The candidate must have strong negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to professionally engage suppliers and contractors on mutually agreed credit terms, ensuring smooth supply continuity without impacting project progress.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong construction procurement knowledge (civil, MEP, finishing items, and contractor sourcing)
• Excellent negotiation, vendor development & market intelligence
• Understanding of BOQ, material specifications, and procurement planning
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple project requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
