Position: Staff Nurse (Male)
Department: Critical Care Unit (CCU) & Ambulance Services
Location: Frontier Lifeline Hospital
Qualification: Diploma in Nursing (GNM) / B.Sc. Nursing, registered with State Nursing Council
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a multi-specialty or tertiary care hospital (ICU/CCU preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care in Critical Care Unit (CCU)
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, including those on ventilators, inotropes, and post-operative cardiac surgery cases.
- Perform continuous monitoring of vital signs, ECG, hemodynamic parameters, and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Emergency & Ambulance Services
- Accompany patients in ambulance transfers (inbound/outbound, inter-hospital) and provide advanced life support (ALS/BLS) during transit.
- Ensure ambulance is equipped, stocked, and ready with life-saving drugs, oxygen, defibrillator, and emergency kits.
- Clinical Procedures & Documentation
- Administer IV medications, infusions, and cardiac drugs safely as per physician orders.
- Assist in intubation, suctioning, defibrillation, and other emergency cardiac interventions.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, and electronic medical records.
- Infection Control & Patient Safety
- Follow strict infection control protocols (hand hygiene, PPE, sterile techniques).
- Ensure safe handling of biomedical waste and maintain patient safety standards.
- Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with doctors, anesthetists, perfusionists, and other team members for smooth patient care.
- Educate patients’ relatives regarding treatment, recovery, and post-discharge care.
- Equipment Handling & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain critical care equipment including ventilators, syringe pumps, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and dialysis machines (if required).
- Report equipment malfunction and coordinate with biomedical team for timely service.
- Professional Development & Compliance
- Participate in regular BLS/ACLS training, mock codes, and skill upgradation programs.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, nursing ethics, and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing, emergency protocols, and critical care procedures.
- Proficiency in BLS/ACLS certification (mandatory or must be obtained within probation).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions.
- Good communication skills and patient empathy.
- Physically fit to handle ambulance duties and emergency situations.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
