Mall Operation Assistant Manager

The role supports the Mall Operations Manager across facility management, tenant coordination, maintenance, and service quality to maximize tenant and customer satisfaction.

The role supports the Mall Operations Manager across facility management, tenant coordination, maintenance, and service quality to maximize tenant and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
  • Support daily mall operations planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with tenants, contractors, and service providers.
  • Monitor cleaning, maintenance, and security services.
  • Ensure emergency systems and procedures are implemented and tested.
  • Support energy efficiency, utilities, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Liaise with Marketing for mall events planning and execution.
  • Tenant & Customer Relations
  • Act as liaison between tenants and management.
  • Coordinate tenant fit out works and compliance with mall standards.
  • Handle tenant and customer complaints professionally.
  • Participate in tenant meetings.
  • Monitor and report tenant opening and closing hours.
  • Facility & Maintenance Oversight
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor vendor performance and service contracts.
  • Conduct regular inspections of common and back of house areas.
  • Support operational budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Review invoices, service reports, and maintenance requests.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure HSE standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate with authorities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
Qualifications
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications
  • Facility Management / Property Operations (preferred)
  • Health & Safety / OSHA (required)
  • Emergency & Fire Safety (required)
  • Customer Service / Tenant Relations (advantage)
  • Experience
  • 5-7 years in mall or property operations
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in:
  • Mall / retail / commercial property management
  • Facility and maintenance coordination
  • Tenant relations and service delivery
  • Safety, security, and emergency response
  • Local authority compliance
  • Language Skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
