The Management Analyst II – Housing & Homelessness Services position plays a vital role in supporting the City's strategic efforts to address housing and homelessness. This position is housed within the Community Development & Housing Department and will work closely with the Homeless Services Coordinator and Senior Management Analyst.
Analysts in this role are responsible for performing complex administrative, financial, and programmatic analysis, with a focus on housing & homelessness services grants, policy development, and program outcomes. The position also supports strategic planning efforts, data analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to improve services for the unhoused community. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a working knowledge of homeless service systems and related grants (e.g., ESG, HHAP, CESH), and a passion for making a meaningful impact in the community.
Ideal Candidate:
This advanced-level role is best suited for a self-motivated professional with at least 1–2 years of progressively responsible experience in program development, grant administration, or public policy analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, a deep understanding of public sector operations, and familiarity with housing and homelessness initiatives. They are comfortable working independently, collaborating across departments, interpreting data, and making policy recommendations that drive results.
