Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to assist the Managing Director in decision-making, data analysis, and operational improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in mathematics, Excel, and business analytics, along with the ability to support internal audit, costing, and operational excellence initiatives.
This is a high-visibility role working directly with the MD and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Support to MD
Prepare analytical reports, business summaries, and presentations for the MD.
Conduct research and provide data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
Maintain confidential information and support high-level administrative and analytical tasks.
2. Data Analysis & Excel Work
Build and maintain advanced Excel models (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, automation).
Analyze business performance, KPIs, and operational metrics.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
3. Internal Audit Support
Assist in conducting internal audits across departments.
Review processes, controls, and compliance with company policies.
Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
4. Operational Excellence
Map processes and identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.
Support Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in tracking improvement projects and outcomes.
5. Costing & Financial Analysis
Perform product costing, cost variance analysis, and margin analysis.
Support preparation of cost sheets and pricing decisions.
Work with finance, production, and procurement teams to standardize costing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong mathematics and analytical skills.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros preferred).
Knowledge of internal audit or process audit methodologies.
Experience in costing, finance, or operations.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or similar (MBA preferred but not required).
