The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Medical Education Manager coordinates the institutional accreditation activities of Monmouth Medical Center; develops assessment tools, analyzes data and writes reports regarding academic functioning; supports education and research development, innovation, and strategic planning; enhances the clinical learning environment of the institution, including performance improvement and patient safety as they relate to academics; provides support for MMC involvement in RWJBH-RU initiatives, including faculty appointments, as well as with scientific, professional, and accreditation organizations; assists the Chief Academic Officer in all phases of premedical, undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education, research and scholarly activity, and administrative duties related to a university-level academic medical center.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field
• Leadership in a teaching health care setting

Preferred:

• • Master’s Degree
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) oversight
  • Educational accreditation preparation
  • Experience with faculty affairs, appointments, and promotions
  • Coordination and statistical reporting of administrative and / or clinical data
  • Project management with responsibility for developing and implementing initiatives
  • Software applications and tracking systems experience
