We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to join our Giovanni's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires effective leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team amongst other duties.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies.
• Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize POS system for cash handling and sales tracking.
• Conduct inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.
• Train, develop, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Implement training programs for new hires focused on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Handle budgeting and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food service management.
• Manage shift schedules effectively to optimize labor costs while maintaining service quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant management.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques and customer service
• Familiarity with a POS system
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in fine dining, casual dining, or quick-service restaurants is preferred.
• Background in hospitality management or kitchen management is an asset.
• Ability to train staff effectively in both operational tasks and customer interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
