Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager - Accounts with a focus on Freight Forwarding. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for;

· Coordination with Foreign agents for invoices, profit shares & disputes resolution.

· Preparation of documents for remittance of FTN & foreign agent through bank.

· Supervision of monthly sales tax, income tax returns & month end closing.

· Ensuring strict compliance against issuance and custody of AWB stock.

· Ensuring of timely payments to vendors, shipping lines and airlines.

· Supervision of year end closing and preparation of related P&L, Balance sheet & Cash Flows.

· Supervision of proper maintenance of receivable & payable balances.

· Assisting higher management in preparation of budgets & other reports.

Skills & Competencies

Good with MS Office

Excellent Analytical & problem-solving skills

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience

3-5 years of relevant work experience.
