Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Business Development Executive to drive international business growth across data, digital, and software services. This role is ideal for someone who can generate qualified opportunities, build strong client relationships, manage the sales pipeline, and help convert leads into long term accounts.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in outbound business development, LinkedIn outreach, proposal writing, client communication, and sales process management for international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals, inbound leads, and strategic prospecting
- Generate and qualify leads for services including data analytics, software development, digital marketing, web development, AI, and automation solutions
- Write customised proposals, capability responses, and outreach messages for international clients
- Conduct discovery calls, understand client requirements, and coordinate internally to shape the right solution
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients
- Keep CRM data updated and maintain clear reporting on outreach, pipeline, follow ups, and conversions
- Support sales strategy, account planning, and target market expansion
- Work closely with leadership, delivery teams, and marketing to improve conversion quality
- Mentor junior BDEs on outreach quality, lead handling, and sales discipline
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or client acquisition
- Strong experience selling IT services, software development, digital services, or technology solutions
- Proven experience in international market outreach, especially US, UK, Australia, Middle East, or Europe
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience with LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, proposal writing, and client follow ups
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution based conversations
- Ability to handle multiple leads, follow ups, and client conversations in a structured manner
- Comfortable working evening or night shift aligned with international clients
Preferred
- Experience in agency, software house, IT services, or technology consulting environment
- Familiarity with Upwork, Clutch, or other lead generation channels
- Experience working with data, digital marketing, AI, or software services
- Ability to support junior team members and improve BD processes
