Financial Management

Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the company.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and banking activities.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.

Ensure accurate recording of freight revenue, shipping costs, customs charges, and operational expenses.
Accounting & Reporting
-
Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

Conduct customer and vendor reconciliations including overseas agents and shipping lines.
-
Ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables.
-
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
-
Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
Freight Forwarding & Operational Support

Monitor shipment profitability and job costing.
-
Review freight invoices, customs duties, shipping line charges, and logistics expenses.
-
Coordinate with operations and commercial teams regarding billing and costing issues.

Analyze operational financial performance and recommend improvements.
Team Management
-
Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team.
-
Train and mentor accounting staff to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Establish internal controls and financial procedures.
Required Qualifications
-
ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Experience Requirements
-
5–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.

Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial role within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain industry preferred.

Experience with ERP/accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems.
