Manager Accounts & Finance (Media)

We are hiring a highly-skilled Manager Accounts & Finance (Media Person) to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This key role is central to our financial operations, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance while providing crucial data for strategic decision-making. You will be instrumental in managing all financial activities and contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the budgeting process and monitor budget vs. actual performance.
• Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis reports.
• Accounts Management
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and team activities.
• Cost Control & Analysis
• Analyze operational costs and identify areas of savings.
• Support decision-making with data-driven insights and financial analysis.
• Team Leadership
• Manage and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.
• Develop and implement internal controls and best practices.
• Media-Specific Tasks
• Manage revenue accounting from ad sales, subscriptions, syndication, and partnerships.
• Coordinate with editorial, sales, and distribution teams for cross-functional planning.

Qualifications:

• CA - Qualified
• 5–7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles (News / Digital Media industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting, and financial analysis tools
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs175,000.00 - Rs185,000.00 per month
