Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Assistant Manager, Accounts & Finance to lead our finance department and ensure strong financial controls, reporting, and compliance across the organization. The role requires a professional with proven expertise in managing accounting teams, overseeing audits, developing financial strategies, and ensuring efficient cash flow management. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills to guide financial planning and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Management
i. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
ii. Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management to ensure financial stability.
iii. Develop financial strategies to maximize profitability and reduce risks.
iv. Ensure compliance with taxation laws, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.

Accounting & Audit Oversight
i. Supervise accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
ii. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
iii. Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and banks for audits, tax filings, and financial reviews.
iv. Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Reporting & Analysis
i. Generate management reports and financial dashboards for decision-making.
ii. Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective measures.
iii. Provide insights on cost control, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.

Team Leadership & Coordination
i. Manage and mentor the accounts and finance team to build capability and improve efficiency.
ii. Coordinate with other departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to align financial planning with business needs.
iii. Ensure timely vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and resolution of finance-related queries.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce. ACCA/CA/ICMA finalist.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, taxation, and MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Soft Skills: Strategic thinker, strong leadership qualities, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
