Job Title: Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (QA)

Reports To: Project Manager

Location: Karachi

  • One day at Ocean Mall Office
  • Remaining weekdays at Shahrah-e-Faisal Office
  • Field Travel: Monthly visits to interior Sindh (Thatta, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Sanghar, Dadu)

Working Hours :

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Salary: PKR 124,000/month (gross)

Education Requirement : BA/B.Com degrees are not accepted

Job Summary :

The Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (QA) is a field-based role responsible for overseeing the quality and effectiveness of services delivered by community mobilizers (Sitara Bajis) across designated areas. The role includes regular field monitoring, imparting training on self-care and family health methodologies, and providing orientation to newly recruited community mobilizers. The Assistant Manager will ensure adherence to health education standards, maintain field reports, and support community mobilizers in their planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Quality Monitoring & Supervision

  • Monitor the quality of service delivery by Sitara Bajis in target areas.
  • Conduct field visits to clinics and outreach sites in both urban and rural settings.
  • Identify service gaps and provide on-the-spot mentoring and feedback.

Training & Orientation

  • Conduct ongoing training sessions for community mobilizers on:

o Self-care practices

o Family health and reproductive health education

  • Provide structured orientation to new community mobilizers on:

o Basic health education topics

o Available screening services

o Community engagement techniques

Work Planning & Reporting

  • Review and compile Sitara Bajis’ weekly and monthly work plans and attendance.
  • Submit regular quality assurance reports and updates to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain accurate field records and documentation.

Field Coordination

  • Coordinate with clinics and partner health facilities in Sindh districts (Thatta, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Sanghar, Dadu).
  • Act as a liaison between field teams and the project office to ensure streamlined communication and support.

Eligibility Criteria :

Education (from a recognized/accredited institution):

  • LHV / MBBS / Pharm D / Post Graduate Nurse (BSN or equivalent)
  • BA and B.Com degrees are not eligible for this position.

Experience:

  • MBBS: House job + 1 year of experience in Gynaecology unit
  • Pharm D: Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical quality and assurance
  • BSN Nurses: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Family Planning, Reproductive Health, and Community Health Practices
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and supervising community health workers
  • Strong field coordination and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to field locations in interior Sindh
