Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, Quality Control, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding and improving our high-quality standards for all our packaging materials. You'll be the key person to ensure that every product meets and exceeds our rigorous specifications and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Enforce Standards: Create and implement robust quality control procedures for our packaging manufacturing processes.
• Monitor Production: Oversee all stages of production, from raw materials to finished goods, conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure everything meets specifications.
• Conduct Audits: Lead regular quality audits of production facilities to identify areas for improvement and guarantee compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Solve Problems: Investigate the root cause of any quality issues and implement effective corrective actions to prevent them from happening again.
• Train and Supervise: Train and lead the quality control team, providing guidance on testing procedures, quality standards, and documentation.
• Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all quality control activities, including test results, reports, and action plans.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with other departments, including Production, Procurement, and Logistics, to ensure seamless quality control throughout the supply chain.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of our packaging processes.
• Ensure Compliance: Stay up to date with all relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA) to ensure our processes are always compliant.
• Manage Customer Satisfaction: Address quality concerns and work directly with customers to ensure our packaging materials meet their exact specifications.

Requirements

• Experience: More than 3 years of experience in a Quality Control role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in food technology is preferred.
• Location: Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to the Port Qasim area is required.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (as needed).
