About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Art Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Art Master Plan for our transformative airport development project in Riyadh. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a world-class cultural and passenger experience at one of the most ambitious aviation infrastructure projects in the world.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Master Planning

Develop and deliver a long-term Art Master Plan that aligns with the airport’s brand, architectural identity, passenger journey, and broader cultural goals.

Establish the vision, goals, and guiding principles for the airport’s art program in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external cultural advisors.
Program Development & Curation

Identify opportunities for public art integration across terminal buildings, outdoor spaces, transit nodes, and mixed-use zones.

Commission permanent and temporary artworks, including sculpture, digital installations, multimedia, and cultural experiences for assets coming into operation from 2026 ++

Curate rotating exhibitions and artist residencies that reflect the spirit of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and global creativity in alignment with the Kingdoms culture and religion.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

Liaise with local and international artists, galleries, cultural institutions, and government bodies (e.g. Ministry of Culture, Royal Commission for Riyadh City).

Engage internal stakeholders including architects, designers, commercial teams, and passenger experience managers.
Project Management & Delivery

Oversee the commissioning, fabrication, and installation of artworks in coordination with construction and design timelines.

Manage art-related budgets, procurement processes, legal contracts, and conservation planning.
Operations & Maintenance

Develop long-term operational and maintenance strategies for artworks in the airport environment, ensuring sustainability and asset longevity.

Set policies for acquisition, deaccessioning, intellectual property rights, and risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art Curation, Fine Arts, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in managing large-scale public art programs, preferably in complex infrastructure or urban development environments.

Proven track record of developing and implementing art master plans or curating art for major transport hubs, cultural districts, or urban settings.

Strong understanding of art fabrication, installation, conservation, and integration with architecture and landscape.
