Job Objective: This role is responsible for supporting the business development initiative and the strategic partnerships for BIBF. The role holder maintains strong partnerships and also identifies new opportunities for business development on an ongoing basis to ensure business growth for BIBF.
Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities
Support Head of Department (Centre)/Senior Manager in developing annual business plan and budget for Business Development and
obtaining necessary approvals
Build a strong network with key business partners and develop strategic alliances to further expand the reach of BIBF as a premier
education services provider in the region
Manage relationship with existing partners to ensure maintenance of relationships; Engage with clients to determine training/ research
requirements relevant to BIBF’s mandate
Identify or propose potential business deals and tie-ups by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities for the
establishment of strategic alliances and joint ventures (new business concept development) that will result in future cost effective
solutions
Develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects and presentations
Coordinate and compile market research for identifying trends in customer behavior and competitor activities
Manage and update BIBF client relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists
Monitor other similar training providers and customer feedback on an ongoing basis and use market intelligence to review business
strategies
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options and
recommending appropriate plans.
Develop and maintain strong awareness of local / regional markets and regulatory environment and share relevant updates with the
team
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative
trends
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and road shows that will lead to an increase in sales
Undertake any other responsibilities in the departmen
Requirements & Experiences: Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s/ Graduate degree in Business Management / Finance or relevant field is required
Master’s degree in Business Administration / Finance is preferred
Minimum Experience
More than 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
