IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL


The Manager of Sales Promotion & Marketing is responsible for planning, executing, and managing consumer promotion campaigns aimed at driving product awareness, engagement, and sales. This role involves developing promotional strategies that target consumers at various touchpoints, including retail, digital, and on-ground activations. The Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, and external partners to ensure that promotional campaigns are effectively implemented and aligned with the brand`s objectives.


HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT


  • Consumer Promotion Strategy Development: o Design and implement consumer promotion strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and product sales. o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative promotions, including discounts, bundles, contests, giveaways, and loyalty programs. o Ensure all promotional campaigns align with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Campaign Execution & Management: o Oversee the execution of consumer promotions across multiple channels, including in-store, digital platforms, and outdoor activations. o Coordinate with internal and external teams (e.g., sales, marketing, agencies) to ensure seamless delivery of promotional activities. o Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for each promotional campaign to ensure objectives are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: o Work closely with the sales team to ensure consumer promotions are aligned with sales targets and channel strategies. o Liaise with product and brand teams to ensure promotional activities are consistent with product positioning and messaging. o Engage with external vendors and partners to develop and implement promotional materials and activations.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: o Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of consumer promotions, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate impact on sales and customer engagement. o Prepare and present detailed reports on the performance of promotions to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for future initiatives. o Utilize data analytics to refine and optimize promotional strategies.
  • Market Research & Insights: o Conduct market research to gather insights on consumer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities. o Analyze market data to inform promotional strategies and ensure campaigns resonate with target audiences. o Continuously monitor the effectiveness of promotional tactics and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Budget Management: o Develop and manage the budget for consumer promotions, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. o Monitor promotional expenses and ensure compliance with financial guidelines and policies. o Provide regular budget reports and updates to senior management.


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL


Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, HR, or a related field.

Experience:


5-8 years of experience in Sales

Technical Competencies:


  • Project & Stakeholder Management.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution.
  • Training & Development Coordination.
