Techno Commercial Knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of Polycab and market offerings i.e.products and benefits.
  • Also perform market benchmarking to evaluate new products, schemes, and other market actions.


  • Offer suitable product to the customer as per company’s strength and availability


Sales Target Achievement

  • Drive both primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Execute sales strategies and plans within the territory.
  • Recommend tactical actions to meet revenue goals.


Distributor Engagement & Performance Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors.
  • Drive recurring sales and ensure consistent billing cycles.
  • Support distributor performance through regular reviews and engagement.

  • Coordinate with distributors for order planning, scheme execution, and inventory alignment.

Understanding the pain points and expectations of the business

  • Mastering the art and science of asking, listening and conversing with the distributors, channel partners, etc. with an aim to understand both expressed and latent needs.

Business Network Expansion

  • Onboard new outlets, increase distributor / retailer awareness, and manage distribution width and depth.
  • Recommend initiatives that support territory-level growth and drive commercial outcomes.

  • Identify, engage and onboard potential distributor/ retail partners as per business plans.


Initiative and Proactivity

  • Identifying opportunities, issues and proactively acts and follows through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them.
  • Act on opportunities that enhance sales and customer satisfaction.

  • Recognizes useful and relevant contacts; approaches them accordingly to obtain benefit for his/her organization.




Requirements
  • Graduate
  • Metro: 3-5 years minimum experience
  • Non – Metro: 3-5 minimum years of experience
