This position is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves managing a team of analysts in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to
support business objectives and enhance operational performance. The Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, ensuring that insights are aligned with business
goals. This role is responsible for leading the strategic design, management of project backlogs and maintenance of business intelligence applications for the organization. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a data-driven culture
and enhancing over business performance.
This position will be located at the Central Office – Indianapolis, IN and report to the Director of Business Insights & Analytics.
An important multi-faceted role within the Analytics Center of Excellence, working closely with the Center of Excellence Manager and overseeing a team of analysts who facilitate business intelligence processes and procedures of
development and implementation. The incumbent oversees the analysts in the day to day performance of their jobs. This role ensures that project, departmental milestones, and goals are met while adhering to approved budgets. This role
provides high level analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external data sources in support of business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage team of analysts and their day-to-day activities.

Create department strategy and direction to align with Organization’s goals.

Manage the project backlog and coordinate to deliver projects in a timely manner.

Support senior leadership with future vision and critical decisions.

Assist with curating enterprise BI governance materials.

Provide technical support as needed within the team and amongst users.

Manage daily/weekly/monthly analytics reporting to enable the business to operate transparently and efficiently while capitalizing on insights to track revenue and expense and provide.

Provide guidance on executive dashboards for data-informed decision making.

Identify business trends utilizing real-time data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to users and then follow up on results.

Look for trends in reported issues and create long-term solutions vs. short-term fixes.

Perform advanced data mining and data modeling by combining multiple data sources from various systems and databases using BI tools.

Write SQL queries and stored procedures for reports and dashboard development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Applied Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics or related field required.
Preferred:
-
Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science or Data Analytics preferred.
Experience:
Minimum Required:

At least 5 years of experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, Real Estate, Finance, Business Intelligence (BI), or a comparable position handling large, complex data.

At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Proven experience as a business analyst.

Experience running projects to analyze business issues or challenges.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate data into digestible information to improve corporate processes.

Proficiency in SQL (DML, DDL, DCL, commands), Dashboards and Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc) and Excel (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas, data imports, etc.).

Understanding of relational databases and familiarity with statistics.

Understanding of financial data and KPIs to help provide reports to drive answers.
