Role Summary

The ideal candidate is responsible for leading the development, analysis, and execution of business plans, forecasts, and performance monitoring to support the company’s strategic objectives. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate corporate strategy into actionable financial and operational plans, ensuring alignment between commercial, technical, and financial goals.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual and long-term business planning process in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to assess business performance and growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate new business initiatives, partnerships, and investments through feasibility studies and ROI analysis.
  • Coordinate with departments to consolidate business inputs and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Track business KPIs, analyze variances against budget/forecast, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare periodic business performance reports and presentations for management and board reviews.
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting revenue, cost, and profitability.
  • Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics impacting business growth.
  • Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and technical teams to ensure integrated planning.
  • Facilitate planning workshops and support business units in developing operational plans and budgets.
  • Enhance business planning frameworks, templates, and tools for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive automation and digitalization of planning processes where possible.

Job Specifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, CA, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in business planning, strategy, or corporate finance — preferably within the telecom or technology sector.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and business planning software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing reports for senior management.
