The ideal candidate will lead the commercial performance, feed efficiency, and content activation of a defined subset of the global and regional hotel-chain portfolio. Beyond rate strategy and distribution, the candidate s focus will be on optimizing feed quality, mapping rate plans, activating properties based on demand signals, and ensuring accurate content delivery across all sales channels (OTA, TMC, DMC, B2B, retail, call center, WhatsApp). Their mission will be to maximize revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency for the assigned chains.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Planning & Growth: Develop and execute commercial plans for assigned hotel chains, targeting revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains. Identify high-potential properties and seasonal promotions; build go-to-market roadmaps.
Contract Negotiation & Rate Strategy: Lead negotiations: net rates, BAR parity, allotments, and cancellation terms. Design differentiated rate plans (volume rebates, loyalty tiers) to optimize mix across channels.
Feed Optimization & Activation: Audit and enhance inbound feed data: map disparate rate plans to internal structures and troubleshoot mapping errors. Activate new properties and rate plans in the feed based on real-time demand signals, working with supply and technical teams. Implement automated workflows to onboard emergent properties into the platform with minimal latency.
Channel & Distribution Optimization: Tailor channel-specific strategies: premium net rates for TMCs, flash promotions for retail, dynamic packaging via API. Ensure rate/availability accuracy by collaborating with Channel Managers and Technical Account Managers.
Revenue & Profitability Analysis: Monitor RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and yield weekly; perform variance analyses. Provide insights to BI and Product teams to refine forecasting models and distribution algorithms.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Be the primary commercial liaison to hotel-chain executives, Revenue Managers, and Procurement. Collaborate with Sales, BD, and Account Management on upsell, cross-sell, and renewal strategies.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Produce monthly P&L and portfolio health dashboards. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key chains on performance and co-marketing plans.
Process Improvement & Innovation: Automate rate-loading, contract tracking, and feed reconciliation. Pilot AI-driven yield and feed-quality tools to enhance accuracy and speed.
Promotions & Marketing Fund Management: Collaborate with hotel chains to design and execute promotional campaigns (e.g., flash sales, seasonal packages).Negotiate and secure marketing development funds (MDF) and co-op advertising budgets.
