Role : Stakeholder Management/ Problem Solving/Program Management/ Labour Compliances


Location: Bengaluru / Mumbai


Core Areas: Labour Compliances, Payroll complainces, grievance handling, resolving discrepancy, auditing


Qualification: HR vertical and payroll related knowledge


Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Human Resources preferably from bulk payrolling background. Experience in blue collar workforce management is preferred.


Key responsibilities:

  • Ensures payroll processing aligns with all laws, regulations, and internal policies through auditing, record maintenance, and process improvement.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance: Monitor and adhere to all federal, state, and local labor laws, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations.
  • Maintain accuracy: Manage and update payroll records, conduct regular audits of payroll data, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Tax compliance: Manage payroll tax withholdings, oversee the preparation and submission of all required tax filings and reports.
  • Process employee changes: Ensure all employee status changes, such as new hires, terminations, and promotions, are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit required payroll reports to authorities and provide comprehensive payroll reporting and analysis to management.
  • Policy and process improvement: Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency, potentially through automation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with the Human Resources and Finance departments to integrate payroll and employee data and resolve issues.
  • Employee support: Serve as a point of contact for employees, responding to payroll-related inquiries and explaining payroll-related matters.
